Introduction
Flight
history starts from ancient times. People wanted to fly in the sky like a bird.
Birds can overcome the force of gravity by waving. Centuries ago, people tried
to fly the bird imitation. Some of them was jumping from towers with Attached
wings. Leonardo Da-Vinci invented a flying machine, which was flapping its
wings like a bird. 1783 Invention of Hot air balloon, allowed people to Climb
in the air. The experiments on aircrafts and gliders were continued, To
determine wing optimization. Finally, XX century, the Wright brothers invented
the first power-operated aircraft and actually flew.
Aircrafts
Jet aircraft and hot air balloon are
two different flying machines. Hot air balloon flies by the big ball, which is
full by the hot air. Jet flies by the Jet engine, which makes Traction power. The
shape of the fuselage allows the aircraft to autopsy the air.
Ikarus - the first man who succeeded to fly.
Dedalos
traveled to the island
of Crete with his son
Ikarus. And they Participated in the construction of a labyrinth of King Minos.
In the center of that labyrinth lived minotaur (a creature with the head of a
bull on the body of a man). Dedalos, scared that king Minos was going to
imprison him, Made feather wings, which was made from wax, and flew with his
son. While flying, Ikarus, Fascinated with flight, came close to the sun. The
wax was melted by the sun. Ikarus fell down and died.
